Paradox Box
Hyperfocus (2024, 25 min.)
FREE JAZZ | ELECTRO | AFRICAN | GENERATIVE VISUALS
Hyperfocus is the eye of the storm. A point where it is absolutely quiet and peaceful.
Paradox Box's work has been captured alive and released in the operating room. Without shying away from danger, creating tension and moving forward with joy, the musicians build a rhythmic tapestry of sounds.
Hyperfocus reaches beyond the everyday and boldly goes deeper into the eye of the swamp, falling down a rabbit hole or flying for a moment into a valley where wonderful colours float in the air.
The work takes you on a journey into your own imagination, away from the grip of everyday reality, on the one hand gently supporting you, on the other hand strongly captivating you.
This is not a drug. This is a journey made to be enjoyed over and over again. Have mercy on yourself. Allow variation and see the colours.

Djembe solo
Djembe Kan Nordic Style
I dive freely into the rhythm and explore the dynamics between the stronger and quieter parts in this Djembe Kan performance.
A younger djembe pro might wonder why I don't play a higher tuned djembe?
I like a lower tuned drum because it gives a richer texture. It also irritates the ear less, inviting to a warmer atmosphere. This is especially important for indoor spaces like this wedding celebration.
Djembe kan | Beyond and back | Presence
Introducing the Beyond and Back djembe kan. The series will explore new perspectives by exploring different levels of the West African djembe tradition.
