What is Talking Drum?

Talking Drum opened a new page in the development of Finnish working life and leadership. 

We started piloting and doing our first coaching sessions with Mariann in 2014. Over the years, the method evolved and was refined into a leadership and team coaching concept that combines music-based experiential learning and solution-focused coaching.

This combination promote in-depth learning and activates participants' self-reflection, creativity a the process of meaningful insights

We were involved in in a new and highly publicised project,  Renewersleadership development programme. The programme created by Marika Tammeaid and Petri Virtanen was new in Finland: never before had the highest levels of public administration been coached and guided to lead change in such a way.

During the programme - Sitra in 2017-2019 and HAUS in 2019-2024 - we trained more than 400 Finnish leaders, from head of offices and directors-generals to mayors and municipality leaders. (see ex-minister Olli-Pekka Heinonen's interview video above).
